Kufic is a blocky, angular
formal script which may have developed first for carved or woven inscriptions.
It is used as a manuscript by the Muslims and contains several Arabic scripts
and Nabataean script in calligraphic form. During the early time, Kufic script
was used in coins and tombstones.
