The sum of the exterior angles of any polygon is 360°.
x + 5 + 2x - 7 + 5x + 10 = 360
8x + 8 = 360    added all x terms 1x + 2x + 5x = 8x and constants 5 - 7 +10 = 8
8x + 8 - 8 = 360 - 8
8x = 352
x = 44    divided both sides of the equation by 8
