Hans and Sybil Eysenck viewed people as having two specific personality dimensions. These dimensions are neuroticism and extraversion. Neuroticism is when people express negative emotions. Extraversion is when people enjoy being positive and social. These dimensions are described in the Dimensions of Personality, written by Hans Eysenck.
