The equation 2x^2-3x-5=0 a=2, b=-3, c=-5 To find x = -b ± âšb2 - 4ac 2a x=(3 + 7) /4 and (3-7) /4 x = 10/4 = 5/2 and -4/4 x = 2.5 , 1
