One of the embalmers men would make a cut in the left side of the body and removes many of the internal organs. The liver, lungs, stomach and intestines are wash and packed in natron which will dry them out. The body is covered and stuffed with natron which will dry it out.
Natron is used to dry out the body and organs for mummification.
