What makes sqlite an appropriate choice for an android application, compared to other relational database management systems, such as mysql and sql server?

Object Relational DataBase Management programs like MySql, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2, Sybase and Microsoft can handle large (huge) databases. They're also beasts to configure, tune and deal with. SQLite is a simple database that can handle most "little" jobs, like an Android app. SQLite is good up to about 100K rows.
