So the modulus function can be opened as + or -
when opened as +
6-(4x-3)=-19
25=4x-3
x=7
when opened as negative
6-(-(4x-3))=-19
25=-4x+3
22=-4x
x=-5.5
Therefore the values of x are 7 and -5.5
