[tex]\frac{35}{50}=\frac{m}{10}[/tex]   Multiple 10 on both sides to get m by itself

[tex](10)\frac{35}{50}=\frac{m}{10}(10)[/tex]

[tex]\frac{350}{50}=m[/tex]  Simplify

7 = m

First, cross multiply

35 * m = 50 * 10

35m = 500

Then, Divide both sides by 35

m = 500 / 35

m = 14[tex]\frac{2}{7}[/tex] or 14.29
