they will each get 1/6 pound of chocolate. 1/2 divide by 3 = 1/6

[tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex] divided by 3

[tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex]  /  3

Each person gets [tex]\frac{1}{6} lb. of chocolate
